Ruth Ann Petroff represents district 16 in the Wyoming House of Representatives.   Her career has been in the hospitality industry, owning/operating Domino’s Pizza in Jackson from ’88-’06, Hard Drive Cafe from ’03-’10, and currently Snake River Coffee Roasting Company.  Involved with many non-profit organizations and civic projects, she has a wide variety of experiences that make her uniquely qualified to represent many sectors of the Jackson Hole community.

Bills she has successfully passed in the legislature include an energy bill to allow municipalities and counties to issue industrial revenue bonds (private equity capital) to fund energy improvements for residential homeowners; a bill to give more flexibility to the resort liquor license holders at ski areas; a bill to allow the sale of a parcel of state school trust land to Grand Teton National Park (preserving the land for future generations while generating funds for education in the state); and a resolution to support the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform’s ‘Moment of Truth’ Plan (Simpson-Bowles Report).
